Who we are. This Privacy Policy describes how Smart CX, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Traveler Alarm (the "App") and related websites or support channels.
Quick summary. We designed the App to work with minimal data collection. We do not create user accounts, we do not run third‑party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell personal information. The details below explain exactly what data is (and isn’t) collected and how it’s used.
1) What data we collect
We only collect information that is necessary to operate the App, provide support, or comply with the law. Depending on how you use the App, that may include:
A. App data generated on your device
- Local app settings and content (e.g., alarms, schedules, preferences) stored on your device. We do not receive this data.
- iCloud sync (optional). If you enable iCloud or device backups, Apple may process copies of your app data to provide those services. See Apple’s privacy policy for details. We do not have direct access to your iCloud data.
B. Diagnostics
- Crash logs and performance data delivered through Apple’s MetricKit.
Apple batches these reports and shares them with us about 24 hours after an
incident, de-identifying them where possible so we can diagnose crashes and
performance issues.
C. Purchases
- In‑App Purchase receipts to unlock features. We validate receipts to confirm entitlement. We do not receive your name, email, or full payment information from Apple.
D. Support communications
- If you email us or fill out a support form, we’ll receive the information you provide (your email, message, attachments) to respond and keep records of the conversation.
- When you use the in-app contact shortcut, the draft message is pre-filled with optional diagnostics to help us troubleshoot. The bundle includes your app version and build number, iOS version, device model, current locale and time zone (coarse location), alarm counts, and whether the calendar integration flag is on. You can edit or remove any of this before sending.
- If you tap “Copy Support Info,” the same diagnostic text is written to your device’s clipboard for you to paste elsewhere. It stays local to the device until you choose to share it.
We do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings,
or advertising identifiers unless a feature explicitly asks and you grant
permission. The only location-related detail we receive is the coarse time-
zone string you choose to share in support requests, and you can delete it
before sending.
2) How we use data
- Provide and improve the App, including debugging and performance.
